Their versatile repertoire spans original compositions\, improvisational pieces\, and a wide range of beloved covers. Audiences can enjoy their renditions of classics by iconic artists such as The Beatles\, The Rolling Stones\, Bob Dylan\, The Band\, The Grateful Dead\, Traffic\, Eric Clapton\, Neil Young\, and Crosby\, Stills & Nash\, as well as timeless jazz standards and more. Their performances offer something for everyone\, from heartfelt originals to reimagined classics. \nThey welcome hastings native Douglass Alligood on bass! \nAdam Hart  is a native New Yorker. He is a singer-songwriter folk-rock and cover artist here in the Rivertowns for two decades. With a Master of Education\, Adam specializes in teaching guitar and voice in singer-songwriter styles\, including music theory\, classic rock\, blues\, bossa nova\, and a touch of baroque. Adam was interviewed by Bob Sherman on WFUV’s “The Folk Songs of Woody’s Children” in 2016\, and his songs can be found online as a solo artist as well as with the folk-rock group Riverrun. Adam has made his love of music and community a centerpiece of his teaching. He has been a song leader at Woodlands Community Temple for a decade and continues teaching a guitar workshop at PS 75 in the upper west side of New York. Adam has produced the RiverArts Music Tour\, as well as being a performer in it since the event started and has hosted the solar-powered waterfront stage. \nKen Tuccillo is a singer-songwriter with a B.A. in Music Composition from Hunter College. He has been performing in the Rivertowns and NYC with various local musicians for almost thirty years\, 27 of which have been as a member of the local band Riverrun. Ken’s all original solo album “Whatever” is available on all streaming platforms and his rock-opera “The Fisherman’s Revival” will be available soon.

Music is her greatest love and the one constant through a life that has included various reincarnations as an astrophysicist\, project manager\, wife\, mother\, fundraiser\, belly dance teacher\, and now performer\, writer\, and producer. This variety has influenced and shaped Bianca Grooves – a dynamic blend of deep funk\, sultry blues\, smooth soul\, and jazzy neo-soul. Originally steeped in the jazz world\, once she started writing\, recording\, and producing original music\, she never stopped. She loves all music and draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of songs and sounds from all decades. The minimalistic jazz sounds of Miles Davis in the ’50s\, the bluesy\, soul-stirring lyrics of Nina Simone in the ’60s\, the funky rhythms of ’70s idols Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder\, the ’80s beat-driven hip-hop like RUN-DMC and Salt-N-Pepa\, the ’90s blend of hip-hop and jazz groove of Mos Def\, and all of the pop influences of the 2000s – it’s all fair game and part of her playground of inspiration. \nSammy Wags: Steadily making his mark as a leader\, and a unique voice in modern World/Jazz/Groove based music\, there is a remarkable diversity in his offerings to the current creative musical landscape. He has also played at New York City venues like The Bitter End\, Kenny’s Castaways and The Uptown Coffee House.Andrew studied string bass with Jack Messing\, Arnold Schnitzer\, and Dr. Lyn Christie; jazz composition with Irwin Stahl; vocal/string/band pedagogy with Diana Mittler-Battipaglia; and songwriting with Dar Williams and the WASTM retreat. His writing is influenced by his five children\, his students\, and his Bronx neighbors.

Music is her greatest love and the one constant through a life that has included various reincarnations as an astrophysicist\, project manager\, wife\, mother\, fundraiser\, belly dance teacher\, and now performer\, writer\, and producer. This variety has influenced and shaped Bianca Grooves – a dynamic blend of deep funk\, sultry blues\, smooth soul\, and jazzy neo-soul. Originally steeped in the jazz world\, once she started writing\, recording\, and producing original music\, she never stopped. She loves all music and draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of songs and sounds from all decades. The minimalistic jazz sounds of Miles Davis in the ’50s\, the bluesy\, soul-stirring lyrics of Nina Simone in the ’60s\, the funky rhythms of ’70s idols Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder\, the ’80s beat-driven hip-hop like RUN-DMC and Salt-N-Pepa\, the ’90s blend of hip-hop and jazz groove of Mos Def\, and all of the pop influences of the 2000s – it’s all fair game and part of her playground of inspiration. \nSammy Wags: Steadily making his mark as a leader\, and a unique voice in modern World/Jazz/Groove based music\, there is a remarkable diversity in his offerings to the current creative musical landscape. He is the Composer/Producer/Drummer of the critically acclaimed Afrobeat/Jazz group; The Brighton Beat\, the Composer/Producer/Keyboardist for the modern Soul/Funk quartet; Mr. Clifford and leads an ever-evolving group under his own name in which he performs on a hybrid Guitar/Bass instrument of his own creation. \nAn accomplished educator\, with roots in the Hudson Valley\, Sam has a passion for music education\, and has extensive experience working with students of all ages. Both alone\, and with a variety of ensembles he has given clinics\, workshops\, and master-classes on rhythm\, improvisation\, creativity\, composition and Jazz history.
