4West brings jazz, fusion, originals, standards classic and new, with a doctor of vocals who croons, swings and pops.
4West formed in 2022 when sax player Eric Lane and bassist Steve Kaell happened to share the stage at a jazz jam session. Steve brought in the phenomenal drummer Jeremy Portwood, and we soon added Dr. Deena Altman on vocals. This all-Westchester jazz ensemble plays jazz, fusion, originals, and classic and modern standards.
